Drawing with juicy white gel pens and soft white charcoal pencil is so much fun!

You can achieve amazingly sophisticated look quickly.

But it can be intimidating if you have never tried before.

Is it just a reversed version of the traditional black on white Zentangle?

Do we "shade" with white pencil?

This is a perfect class for anyone who is new or relatively new to white on black. If you struggle with white on black, you are not alone. I initially did not like white on black at all. There are so many things that I wish I had known, and I'm hoping to share what I have leaned so that you'll enjoy black tiles as much as I do now.

In this workshop, I will walk you through 2 tiles and show some of my favorite techniques. You will also learn how to draw a beautifully complex-looking tangle called "Ratoon".

You will need: 2 black tiles, Sakura Gelly Roll 10 and 05, white charcoal pencil, and tortillon dedicated to white
